Vineyard Palette

Gems: The gems of the Vineyard Palette are similarly sensual and rich: Amethyst; Rhodolite; Blended- and standard-cut Ametrine; Citrine; Green, Burgundy, Copper and Bicolor Tourmaline; Golden Topaz; Green, Golden and Mocha Zircon; Rose and Purple Spinel, among others. Spike the neutrals of the Serengeti Gem Palette with liberal doses of Vineyard’s Bordeaux, Zinfandel and Cabernet.

Like the Serengeti Palette, The Vineyard Color Palette® is based on luscious “earthy” tones, both feature tawny, heavy, full and muted colors. The Vineyard Gem Color Palette® is a natural to layer over Serengeti foundational jewelry pieces. Natural is the key word, as of the five palettes in the Color Palette System®, the Serengeti and Vineyard are most related as they are both based on luscious “earthy” tones, are amongst the easiest to merge. Serengeti and Vineyard are of the earth: the colors are tawnier, heavier, full and muted. Vineyard is like you poured wine on the Serengeti Palette, or went for a picnic in the Serengeti and brought wine.

Purples, burgundies and mauves of grapes full and ripening on the vine. For the greens and golds of leaves unfurling, tendrils reaching. The rusts and coppers of fertile earth. Run the wine over your lips, dig your fingers into the soil; inhale the air’s bouquet. The Vineyard Gem Palette® is one of the most lush and sensual, like a rich and full-bodied wine. These gems transform a woman into a Botticelli goddess graced with feminine knowing and strength.

This is a palette for all seasons. Mauves and roses from can be very light and springy. Amethyst and Ametrine can be worn tropical. The gleams of Mocha Zircon are also warm and desert-hued; Sunflower Citrine is a polished neutral and green gems are eternal. Amethyst can also be Bright Lights.

Though the earthy Vineyard gems can sound like a Fall cornucopia , this is a palette for all seasons. Just as the new fashion cornerstone color of brown is worn year-round, so can the gems of the Vineyard. The mauves and roses from this palette can be very light and springy. Amethyst and Ametrine can be worn tropical. The gleams of Mocha Zircon are also warm and desert-hued; Sunflower Citrine is a polished neutral and green gems are eternal. So enjoy them around the fireplace……on a spring picnic……. through a summer concert.

At first you may want to create tonal layers within the Vineyard palette. Or, you can merge these colors with those from other palettes: Take the golds from Serengeti and plant them amongst Vineyards’ purples, Merlots and greens. Bright Lights‘ Tanzanites and Tsavorites can be beautiful with the plum and gold-hued Vineyards; the Tropics‘ warmer golds and greens can also flow into Vineyard. The only caution is to consider the balance of tones, intensities and feelings.
