THE STORY

Amethyst is associated with the crown chakra and its higher states of consciousness and connection to the universe.

Amethyst is considered a sacred stone possessing strong healing powers.  It is one of the best gems for protection including clearing and protecting from negativity.  Amethyst can also help you move past outdated beliefs and dysfunctional behaviors aiding your spiritual development.

Amethyst brings prosperity and good fortune and is thought to release tension, aid in restful sleep and guards against energy attacks by transmuting negative energy to love. Oh – and the ancient Greeks wore Amethyst to protect them for intoxication.

Amethyst is the birthstone for February.

THE CREATION

Cynthia Renee hand-selected this pair of amethyst because they’re just the right shade of purple:  they are a bright “not too dark” purple so they don’t get lost in your hair or disappear in evening light. Careful attention has been paid to their cutting so as your move your head, the gems flash a full range of brilliance.

The 18 karat white gold swan neck arch above the diamond is short, so the earrings don’t pull on your earlobes so others notice how they brighten your face, not pull your earlobe.
