Studying geology, I scrambled all over rocks learning their secrets, trying to make sense of their place in Earth’s history.
My jewelry creations start with the gem and how best to enshrine it.
I call my new design series “Gia”, alluding to geology, the study of the earth.
With the Gia series, I’ve used pieces of extraordinary polished rock or mineral to connect the wearer with the Earth’s power, beauty and mystery.
Each Gia earring is as unique as the patterns in the rocks. Made in 18 karat gold with my same attention to detail, and a 10-mm parabolic fiction back for the post for comfort and to prevent tipping.
Simple and luxe, I’ve combined slices of colorful gemmy rocks with a faceted gem.
You can wear these up or down; t-shirt or black dress. Easy on the ear.
